Tranmere story

Harry Kenneth Leyland was an English goalkeeper born in Liverpool. He began his senior career with Everton and later joined Blackburn Rovers, where he was part of the side that reached the 1960 FA Cup final.

Leyland moved from Blackburn to Tranmere Rovers in March 1961. After his playing career, he managed Wigan Athletic and became closely involved with New Brighton Rugby Union Football Club. He died in December 2006.
